Build A Pallet Chicken Coop

Since the pallet duck house build was a success, we decided to move our egg slaves into the yard this winter and build them a simple coop. the one thing missing in my opinion in a lot of pallet builds is insulating and outside finishes. so here is our version of a pallet chicken coop.. Our first chicken coop was functional, but left a lot to be desired. we learned a lot from our first little coop, and we put what we learned into our second, bigger pallet chicken coop. things we learned from the first coop, make a coop big enough to walk in, roosters are big, need a bigger door, and always plan you coop to get even more chickens.. In case you haven’t heard by now, pallets are the greatest free building material around. you can make a ton of neat things from them. in this instance, you will be building a chicken coop. most of the time you can find pallets for free by going around to local businesses..
